So I stubmled upon where to do this hidden in, Vbox control GUI's "File > Prefs > Network > NAT Networks > 'MyNATwork'" (see what I did there!? ) as apposed to the new Vbox control GUI's "Help > Network Operations Center'" (which personally seemed where it would be logically to me) However (aside from being fairly non-intuitive as far as setup goes), I can't get it to actually work.įirst of all, you have to create your own "NAT Network" (why isn't a default one there already, and why doesn't the VM's Network tab tell you this instead of just saying "error detected" Networking improvements: A new Network Address Translation (NAT) option allows virtual machines to talk to each other on the same host, and communicate with the outside world. ![]()
